Summary

Yuri made a poison that the emperor was interested in so in order to find out how she made the poison they got Yuri to be a concubine. The actual emperor never greets any of his concubines he just sends out this guy named “Jamie” who was a former prince before the actual Emperor (Marquez) conquered his territory.
So, this fake emperor falls in love with Yuri and Yuri falls in love with him.
Yuri doesn’t care abt his role she actually just loves him.
NOW THESE SPOILERS ARE DEEP
So later on our FL Lydia realizes a bottle of perfume that was inside Marr’s room, she recalls Yuri dropping a similar bottle which she randomly blurts out to Marr.
Soon Yuri gets sent to the dungeon and our FL is confused on whats happening and then Marr goes to war.
Jamie took advantage of the situation and decided to run away with Yuri, he had already told Yuri he wasn’t the real emperor a long time ago so of course Lydia was shocked.
THIS HAPPENED AFTER THE EMPRESS CONTEST WHEN THEY REACHED THE TOP 2.
Yuri who sees Lydia as a friend decides to help her run away too and doesn’t want her to suffer with the cold-blooded emperor.
Lydia who wants to look for Marr gives out his description saying he was the emperor’s servant, Jamie who’s confused and says the only one he can recall with such an appearance is the emperor himself and Jamie also mentions he’s the emperors only servant.
Soon the news reaches Marr and he gets angry because Jamie took Lydia with him and plans to leave the empire, and blah blah blah blah blah.
