No my cup of tea. The FL backstory is full of holes and doesn’t make sense at all. She was abandoned as soon as she was born, they threw her in the sewers (that kid should have been death right there but ok) she grow up living in a chicken house in the slums BUT!!! She is supposed be a genius that could read language not everyone can, do maths, swim, and basically learn anything without anybody teaching her or at least relatively easy. BUT!!! Even with that potential she couldn’t do anything more that being a beggar until recently (she didn’t try growing she just stayed there) and needed the help of the some else to grow to be a maid. She has amazing skills (psychoanalysis and burglar) and reflex that she said she learn in the slums which is hard to believe when she was unable to have a proper meal in her life and clearly she had malnutrition (no food= no brain/ no vitality) and I can go on like that. The author wanted to write a female character like she is super smart and good at everything but forgot to write the proper backstory. Also for some reason I can’t stop thinking she is annoying and entitled.
