If ur thinking about if it’s worth reading it or not then. don’t. It’s not worth it. It’s waste of time.
I just don’t understand why they make it seem as if Chinese ppl think having a scar face = ugly, like wtf? Do y’all really think that way or this person is stupid- no offense to artists, but MC is already wayy to pretty to be called as “ugly”, it was so cringey when those coffee shop workers ran away from MC calling her “UgLy”-
“Fake beauty” “true beauty” it’s all trash. (ಠ_ಠ)>⌐■-■

I personally think this comic isn’t that bad, it’s actually pretty good. Personally I don’t think scars on the face are ugly at all, but sadly some people in society may perhaps still think so. The art is rlly pretty!

This was an excellent read, it covers body dismorphia, body image issues, mental illness, bullying, harassment sexual assault, murder, ableism and is LGBTQ friendly. People around the world judge people by their appearances, judge themselves and hurt themselves and each other for it either with microagressions or full hostility. This comic has the possibility to take place across many countries and because it’s about the human experience. **Recommended read: Check out ‘True Beauty’ for another good read in the same genre and theme.
